That means kids are wreaking havoc upstairs

This week’s theme is wild but I don’t want to put up another one of my pet’s snarling photos.  So, I guess, interpreted another way, this photo should fit.

Notice the random arrangement of shoes and the various sizes.  The smaller ones are those nearest the stair steps while the bigger ones are those on the periphery.  What actually happened was that, during a family gathering, the little kids went upstairs to the playroom, only to be fighting among themselves after a while.  So the adults have to go up and see what’s happening.  Hehe.

This is a photo I took of Chunky, one of Qingzi’s babies (but now, an almost-adult hamster), when I took her from her aquarium while sleeping.  She never even bothered to wake up and continued to curl inwards, sleeping.  I guess she’s already learned to trust me that much she isn’t even worried that I might drop her.  For me, this photo is beautiful because it shows how our pets love us in return for the care and love that we give them.

I’m a bit sad, though, that I’ve to give her away today to a close friend.  I can only keep a certain number of hamsters at home and Dad chose to keep the other one, Maws.  But then, I’m sure my friend will take good care of her.  And maybe I’ll be able to see her again when I get to visit my friend.

Photo of my niece and nephew taken during the preparations for my cousin’s wedding. Notice my niece’s annoyance at my nephew who’s being playful while her hair was being styled.
