Prudence and Madness

I left Plurk a bit early last night to spend some time with my new books.  I put down the last book at around 3:30 a.m. today and decided to take a peek at what’s happening in Plurk.  

Guess what I saw?

The GarGar is MrsBadBunny?  Was that approved by the BigBadBunny?

Is Bakla an atheist now or is Atheista gay?

Dementia’s got a BF na?!?!

Yeah, I know how he feels…

Welcome to the Great Plurk Name Switch!

If that doesn’t give you headache, I don’t know what else will.

And like AJ, I’m also wondering what the Day Plurkers will say once they logged into their accounts later this morning.  LOL!

And so the bold/sexy star/Ang TV names gave way to UAAP characters and chant calls as the second game in the UAAP Basketball Finals unfolds.

Let’s see what’s gonna happen next.  Will be watching and plurking.  GO LA SALLE!!!!

UPDATEs:

6:07 P.M.  47-50 in favor of Ateneo.  Isang 3-point shot lang ‘yan!  Go La Salle!

6:19 P.M. 4 minutes 30 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, 47-54.  Awwwwww…..CHICKEN JOY NA ‘YANG MGA EAGLES!  GO LA SALLE!

6:20 P.M. 49-54!!!!!  Time out daw muna…

6:26 P.M. Barely 2 minutes left in the game, Casio fouls out.  No Rico, No Casio.  Shit!  49-57!!!!

6:31 P.M.  40 seconds left.  DLSU missed the getting rebound.  Fouls ADMU.  ADMU with one free throw.  49-60.  Hay…  Ateneo killing time now.

6:33 P.M.  51-62.  Ateneo wins.  Ho-hum.  Darn.

Archers will need to learn how to cook Chicken Joy better next time!  Go La Salle pa din!  The next one is ours!

Postscript:

6:55 P.M.  Did I see and hear that right?  No one from the DLSU Green Archers went up to receive the 1st runner-up award for UAAP Basketball?  Hmmm…

Or, at least, it had been (more than the usual) crazy today…

That’s Entertainment Attendance?!

Somebody just declared September 24 as That’s Entertainment Plurk Day!

Can you imagine how much effort I’ve to exert to keep myself from laughing out loud, as I was reading all of these plurks and new plurk names while I was at the clinic earlier?

If you noticed, plurkers have started changing their display names into names of members of That’s Entertainment, a local tv show aired by GMA 7 from 1986 to 1996.  I can remember some of the more famous artistas then, to think that I’ve seen this show when I was 6 years old until I was 16.  But how much more those who’re even younger than I am now?  Surprisingly though, even the youngsters remember this show.  And I think everybody knows who Kuya Germs is.  Haha.

Will I go jump into the bandwagon?  

Hmmm…though it’s fun reading people’s plurks and torturing myself trying to find which plurker uses which TE (That’s Entertainment) name, I don’t think I want to.  Most people have grabbed the good names already.  Hehe.

But then, if by some weirder reason, plurkers do decide to have an Ang TV plurk day, I think I’ll go fight tooth and nail to be Angelica Panganiban in plurk…BECAUSE DEREK RAMSEY IS MINE!  Wahahaha!  See I already have my avatar prepared:
