Perhaps, Mayor Win is still made of WIN.

I’ve just received an email from the Mayor of Valenzuela regarding my complaints about the buses parking on the sidewalk along Paso de Blas in Malinta.

Here’s part of the email he sent:

Thank you for your email. This is definitely illegal. We will not tolerate this illegal parking and obstruction. I will send our enforcers there now.

Please keep me posted. Please send me pictures regularly.

I might be in the area tomorrow.  Hopefully I’ll be able to see what has been done to resolve this.

Er, actually, I’ve no updates.  Because there had been NO RESPONSES REGARDING MY EMAIL-SENT COMPLAINT.

You must remember that I’ve recently posted about buses parking on the sidewalk along Paso de Blas in Malinta.  I’ve emailed the city mayor regarding it, since I was advised that I could do so as he’s reportedly reading his emails.  But it has been 9 days since I’ve sent it and still, no response.

Now I’m wondering whether I should resend the email or try to contact somebody else through landline phone.  But honestly, I’ve no idea who to call.  And buses are STILL parked on the sidewalk, as of today, depriving pedestrians of THEIR OWN DESIGNATED SPACE on the street.

I’m still ruminating on what will be my next step.  Hmmm.
