I got this from The Free Wifi Hotspots Directory, which compiles free wifi hotspots from all over the world. But since I’m here in the Philippines, I’m particularly interested only in what’s found here, hehehe.

Please do check these hotspots and tell me if there are those in the list that aren’t there anymore or aren’t offering wifi now. I haven’t exactly checked each and everyone just yet.

Windows Vista Home Basic was installed in it and so far, I’m quite happy about how it runs, despite the fears that some of my most used programs won’t run on it.  I really cannot give an adequate review of the computer, as it’s, after all, my first laptop.  But the things that I’m looking for in a laptop right now is just the speed by which it runs with word processing, adobe photoshop, and browsers open.  And so far it works fine.  I doubt if it will still run smoothly with games installed but since, I’m not really a gamer, that’s just okay with me.

What I really want to try now is to connect to the Internet in wi-fi hotspots.  As I know very few wi-fi hotspots, I hope my dear blog readers could help me out in compiling a list of wi-fi hotspots in Metro Manila, whether free or not.

This is what I’ve gathered so far:

Isn’t that there are just numerous times that we simply forget passwords for our password-protected documents in MS Word, Excel, or Access? What if you forgot that unique password you’ve used in protecting your very sensitive diary entry? Or your formulas in Excel? It would be fortunate if you usually use one or two passwords only because you’d easily be able to remember it. But what if you’ve used an uncommon one? Or a combination of two common passwords? How do you access that document then?
