I’m back to where I was staying 4 years ago, when I was still a medical intern. But now, I’m doing my preresidency. Or rather, still haven’t finally decided where I’m going to do preresidency. And so, for now, I’ve got the time to spare settling in and making myself comfortable. Or rather, I’d think I’m actually back home. Here I could go wherever I want and come home without my mom or dad breathing down my neck and have endless barrage of questions on the how and why I came home late. Well yeah, of course, there’s my aunt here, but she doesn’t really ask me that much questions. I do try to be considerate but then, at least, I’ve got more freedom here. I like my room, with minimal furnishings and the place is cool even without airconditioning. I think my hammies love my new room too.
I just hate the packing and unpacking part. With all my books, it’s so hard trying to decide which I need to bring and which I can do without. But the more I ruminate on it, the more books end up in my luggage and eventually, I’m almost bringing my whole library with me. My anatomy book alone is almost 3 inches thick! And I need to bring a lot of clothes because I dunno which to wear on what days. Haha. But then, I don’t need that much space. I prioritize books, lappie, and hamster tanks for all available spaces anyway.
And I also hate the internet-less days. Aaaarrrgggh! I’m going to die without it! I should get a prepaid broadband soon. Right now, I’m blogging while sipping my Chocolate Macademia coffee and nomnoming blueberry muffin at GJ Shang and enjoying the free wifi. This is the life!
But then, I guess, it’ll take a longer while before I could do this again. Not unless, the hospitals I’ve applied to tell me to just report back at a later date. Haha!
