Perhaps, Mayor Win is still made of WIN.
I’ve just received an email from the Mayor of Valenzuela regarding my complaints about the buses parking on the sidewalk along Paso de Blas in Malinta.
Here’s part of the email he sent:
Thank you for your email. This is definitely illegal. We will not tolerate this illegal parking and obstruction. I will send our enforcers there now.
Please keep me posted. Please send me pictures regularly.

Yup, I agree. At least somebody should say something. I observe that most people see it as a “normal”, everyday thing. Or perhaps, “awa” is mixed in already. But still, wrong things are wrong.

I used to live in Valenzuela (grew up there, actually) and seeing buses parked on sidewalks were common. But you’re right. Mali pa din yun. I’m glad Mayor Win responded to your email even if it took him more than a week. Busy siguro kaya di nakapagbasa agad ng emails.
