Trinoma Blogger Food Tour: Italianni’s Restaurant

I was so glad that we’re able to stop by this place during the tour. Honestly, I was hoping they’d serve my favorite pasta dish, Penne Arrabiato. And you know what? They did (it’s the one in the photo above)! Even though I know I had to eat only bits of food so that I could taste all the food in the restaurants we’d visit, I can’t help but really eat a mouthful of the stuff. Penne Arrabiato, by the way, is Penne pasta with mushrooms, tomatoes and fresh basil in spicy peppered-vodka sauce. I’ve been trying to replicate that at home, but it just doesn’t taste the same as that one served in Italianni’s.
Another specialty of Italianni’s that was served during the tour was Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio, which is made up of spinach, artichokes, mushrooms and creamy blend of cheeses and usually served with toasted garlic bread.
