Ironically there are Physicist-creationists out there.
Have you ever heard of Fr. Georges Lemaitre? He was the main proponent of the Big Bang Theory — widely accepted today, but scorned in the past as being a futile justification of Genesis 1’s “Let there be light”.
At least you could say that there are priests — religious out there, who seek to reconcile their beliefs on account of empirical data.

Oh yes there are plenty of them. It may be because we’re all looking at the same thing through different lenses, as it is commonly said. But, of course, the choice of the lens used is what is significant.
I do acknowledge that there are blind-faith creationists of course.
And the ones who just want you to denounce Darwin “just because”.
Those are the dangerous types. No different from Muslim Extremists, in my book.
