UPDATE: Sorry to disappoint a lot of people…by the title, “ways of making myself happy”, I wasn’t referring to that kind of happy-fying. Hahahahaha.
It’s been a long while since I posted a Thursday Thirteen.
And for this week, I’ve decided to write a post that can boost happiness and what’s better than listing ways of making myself happy? Maybe when readers see my list, they’ll also be inspired to make their own list
So, here it goes…
1.) Having a House MD/Matrix DVD marathon for the nth time.
2.) English Breakfast Tea Latte from Coffee Bean
3.) Blogging happy thoughts
4.) Playing with kittens and laughing at how my big cat, Baba, would try to squeeze himself inside a garden pot too small for him. He might have forgotten he’s already a cat and not a kitten anymore.
5.) Watching a movie at the mall then go bookhunting at NBS, Fully Booked, or Powerbooks.
6.) Cooking spicy vegetarian pasta
7.) Reading Lord of the Rings Book III Return of the King. My favorite chapter is the “Ride of the Rohirrim”
8.) Playing around with wordpress templates (just like what I did with the template here
).
9.) Bloghopping!
10.) Disturbing my barkada through group text.
11.) Playing “Fur Elise” on the piano.
12.) Writing on my journal
13.) Letting go of all the negative thoughts generated in the recent days and just staring into space thinking of the fun times I had with friends and loved ones.
Hey, how about you? What are the things you do to make yourself happy?

Great list.
I love the movies at the mall. Ours has a Borders in it. The smell of coffee while browsing books…you’re right, it’s a mood-lifter.
Happy Thursday!

I do that too. But if I write that, the list won’t be 13 anymore. Haha.
Thanks for visiting.

I love 9 and 11. That song makes me think of my sister who played it on my mom’s piano constantly when we were kids!

to Cecily:
Yup, Fur Elise can be quite a stress reliever. I love playing the part when I have to strike the keys harder because I have to play it staccato. That’s my favorite part.

A good night’s sleep makes me happy. And losing weight. And being early for work, haha.

“A good night’s sleep makes me happy. And losing weight.”
— That would make me happy too. Haha
“And being early for work, haha.”
— Too bad I always have difficulty fulfilling this.

to Rollercoaster Mom:
I love the LOTR books, especially the third one. I got a little bored with the second book, though.
