I got tagged by Baddie with this meme just in time when my blogs were down. So this is a rather “late” answer to that meme.

Here’s a screenshot of how my computer desktop looks like:

Yup, I’ve got a lot of icons on my desktop but I don’t use some of them, hehehe. But, obviously, I use my Yahoo! messenger frequently. I use it to connect with some of my friends who can access it even at work. I also have Google talk for those who can’t access Yahoo! messenger.

Also, I always have my Outlook express and Firefox browser. I have my Twitterfox to check my twitter updates. But Jon pointed me to twitku.com, which I find useful for keeping up-to-date with my Twitter and Jaiku friends.

And, of course, my desktop wallpaper is something I downloaded from the Stardust movie official site. I love the book (and I love Neil Gaiman. Period). Today I’ve seen the movie and I love it too, though it wasn’t really faithful to the book. I guess it’s really quite different when a story already becomes a movie. Something that works in a book may not work in a movie that’s why they change it. And since Neil Gaiman is one of the producers of the film (I think), he had a say in what goes in it so, I guess, everything in the movie got a go signal from him. And, promise, it’s a really fun, entertaining movie. I might make a review. I may not. That just depends on the time and my schedule.

Nothing much more to add. My desktop isn’t that interesting at all. But it can always get crazy especially when friends get online and talk to me all at the same time. There would be a lot of windows opened and I just get confused whom to answer first and which response should be typed in which window. But it’s a fun confusion.

So, okay, I need to post the rules and tag 5 people.

Here are the rules:

My Desktop Free View Instructions:

  1. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
  2. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of Icons, things like that.
  3. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.

I’m tagging:

To the people I tagged, I hope you guys have fun doing the meme. For those who also wants to do the meme but were not tagged, I guess you can still do it. Nobody says it’s “against the rules” to be answering memes that you weren’t tagged for. Haha.

[...] While we were on vacation in Davao, we got tagged for a meme about computer desktops.  We don’t normally respond to memes, but since we are on a Post-Vacation Depression mode for now (and possibly for the next few weeks), we’re posting a reply to a meme tag from Tess. [...]
