Thursday Thirteen #18: 13 Weird Things About Me

There has been a meme, “6 Weird Things About Me”, going around and I really wanted to post it here. But since I have difficulty choosing 6 out of the numerous weird stuff that I do, I chose to post it as my Thursday Thirteen.

13 Weird Things About Me

I’m afraid of Barney
I like eating cold guinataan fresh from the refrigerator. Yum!
Whenever I visit a bookstore, I buy one notebook. Any kind. But I’m especially attracted to cute covers (not covers with pictures of celebrities, please!)
I like the smell of newly autoclaved agar plates
I also like the smell of newly photocopied paper.
I unwrap gifts carefully.
I eat mashed potato with rice.
I don’t like Superman. Batman is the cooler dude!
I don’t like eating pork lechon. It’s weird for me because the rest of my clan are ready to die for a bite of pork lechon.
I LOVE CHEESE. I used to bring slices of cheese with me during my board review. I love cheese so much I’d name my firstborn Cheese.
I don’t like Wowowee or Eat Bulaga, which the whole country finds so entertaining.
I put vinegar and soysauce in my congee.
As a kid, I used to be afraid of rain. What my yaya did was to make me bathe in the rain. After that, I would always want to go outside whenever it rains. Not so true now. Hehe.

I love yours, too. Although, they don’t seem so weird to me. Isn’t it funny how the things we think are weird about ourselves can seem so normal to others?
