IV-Commitment Highschool Class Pic
Class Picture After 10 Years
Last April 28, our highschool fourth year class held a reunion at Serj’s place. With the alcohol from the previous night’s inuman with my blogger friends still swirling within my system, I dropped by Goldilocks to buy Black Forest Party Cake that I’d bring to the reunion party. I was so excited really because some of the people who’d be going to the reunion are those that I haven’t seen in years.
I arrived late, but I think it’s just okay because there are still other people who came in later than I did. Hahaha! ![]()
The attendees of the party (see pic above, from L-R, top to bottom):
- Serj (But, of course, he’s the owner of the place. And specialist of the famous Kalderetang Baka. The barkada’s official photographer and tagapagmana ni Mang Jack. Hehe)
- Ronald (a.k.a. Biggie. Famous for his coleman. And madamot sa paper. Hahaha!)
- Vinnie (we just can’t accept that he’s a Christian Living highschool teacher now hahaha!)
- Chowl (Our Globe connection)
- Nel (The boy’s choreographer and Mutya’s hubby)
- Jayson (The first one rumored to have a kid during college. Or the first one after Shey? Hehe)
- Jerome (the guy with the biggest change
puede na sila magkapatid ni Biggie ) - Eloi (fresh from Dubai)
- Jenny (videoke Queen)
- Mia (Mom-to-be)
- Vane (May-ari ng SM hehe)
- Mutya (bestfriend ko dito. Mommy ni Chanelle. Nel’s wife)
- Anna (class muse. And pretty pa din)
- AJ (Pintasera daw pero mellow na siya ngayon. One of my coffee and badminton buddies. Vault ko din)
- Ailyn (May-ari ng PAL. Haha. Jetsetter ang lola)
- Diosa (She’s good with kids and Videoke Queen din)
- Olie (Wife of Francis)
- Francis (Model hubby na siya ngayon)
- Grace (Bestfriend ko “doon”. Hehe. Just came home from Texas where she’s working.)
- Ram (The Organizer and the Planner. Always, with only few exceptions. Lagi ding kasali sa mga Love triangle)
- Me!
See more of our pictures!
Some of my classmates went home a bit earlier (around 11pm) because some still have work during Sundays. It was kind of killjoy but I do have to understand why they have to leave. I, for one, even have a 24-hour duty the next day, but still I stayed because I know times like a highschool reunion happens only once after several years.
In the end, though, only AJ, Ram, Serj, Biggie, Ailyn, and Vinnie were left. And guess what? We stayed up until 5 am. AJ even had the idea to just make it an overnight party (overnight? Hello? It’s already morning) but Serj had to leave for Subic at 8am. So, we have to wrap up at 5 am. I got home a few minutes after and went straight to bed, trying to catch some Zzzz’s, even just a couple of hours, before I go off to my 24-hour duty in the hospital.
It has been a successful reunion and I wish we could have it repeated again soon. It’s not anymore important if we have an expensive catering or just bring assigned food and drinks in a friend’s house. What is important is we would be able to get updates on one another’s lives, making sure everybody knows that we are still keeping in touch despite living separate lives and that we are friends through and through.

to cars: Of course, magiging magkakakilala pa kayo, if you choose to keep those friendships you develop in highschool. There are some people kasi who seem to impose on themselves a sort of “exile” or “isolation”. Like they don’t want to be in touch with those people in the past? Several of my classmates are like that. I don’t know if it’s simply because they are “busy” or they don’t want to be reminded of who or what they are in the past. Or they think that they’re far superior than the rest of us so they wouldn’t want to “stoop” to our “level”. Sheesh.
Masaya ang highschool. I treasure it because of the quality of friends that I have since then.

Hindi kita makita sa class picture nung HS kayo. Hehe, just interested.
I definitely want to comment on this one since namimiss ko na ang High School ko. Knowing that I recently graduated from thaaaat life, ang hirap mag-adjust. I just want to have a reunion with them!
Oh well, nakakamiss talaga ang High School. Mas lalo na if you made the MOST out of it.
I hope that after ten years, complete attendance pa rin.

to utakGAGO: Can’t find a bigger picture eh hehe. If I can find out, i-post ko dito
Okay lang ‘yan. Ciempre nami-miss mo ‘yung mga tao na lagi mong nakasama. But then, you’re starting college, right? Look forward to the new people you’ll be meeting (iwas na lang sa mga conceited and obnoxious, kasi waste of time lang sila) but don’t ever forget the friends you’ve had since highschool (or even gradeschool).
It’s a wonderful feeling meeting these classmates of mine after such a long, long time. Some of them may not be my close friends but still I’m glad that I still found them after a long long time
Medyo mahirap na siguro ang complete attendance after ten years. Pero I’m sure some will still be around by then
