Thank goodness Pacquiao changed his decision to be a politician. I have a respect for this guy who’s worked hard to get to where he is now. But when he announced that he would be running for Congress, my heart sank and I got into panic mode. Really. It’s just that I don’t really doubt his good intentions but, perhaps, he’s been with bad company that urged him to run for a government position so just that they could ride on with his popularity. I’m glad realized that he couldn’t be mixing boxing and politics. It just doesn’t make sense.
Well, now that he’s changed his mind about dabbling in politics, he’s regained my respect.

I would’ve loved to see him run in his district.
Why? The incumbent is a rabid congresswoman with verbal diarrhea - Darlene Antonino-Custodio. Dammit!

to benj: Hehehe! Pero ‘wag na lang si Manny Pacquiao. I’d rather see Pacquiao win his next boxing fight than to win elections! He’s made for boxing, not politics. And what was that controversy about him getting a highschool diploma? I’m not too sure about that but a lot of people were questioning the process he got it.

to pinklife: Oh well, I think that’s too much to ask for. They really think their popularity is enough for ‘em to run a government office. And marami yata pagkakakitaan dun? Hehe.
