…that’s how Love called our first monthsary date hehe. You may well remember my last blog about how nervous I was about his first time coming to my house. Well, everything went okay. I cooked spaghetti primavera and curried beans for our lunch. After lunch and a bit of rest, we took off to Star Sports Center to have our badminton fest. Two straight hours! And I wasn’t able to beat him, even after four games and suffering from an aching butt and hamstrings
So sad…but, I think, after a few more sessions I’d be able to beat him, once and for all. Hehe. We even played doubles with another couple, but we lost 13-15. Not so bad. And they’re not so good either. Hahahaha! Just kidding. We went home after and watched the Phantom of the Opera on DVD. Really, really perfect. We both love the musical and we are hoping that we could watch it together someday on London Broadway (that is, if they would still be running it at that time hahaha). He went home after dinner at around 9 pm. I was sad to see him go, but I just have to remind myself that I’d be seeing him after a week again. And so, I turned back to the house and started cleaning up. Just about when I was done with washing up the dishes and straightening up things, he called me on my sun phone.
“My heart is yours, Love,” he said. “Look for my heart in your room.”
Oh! A treasure hunt! Hmmm…where could I look for a heart in my room…
I started browsing through my human anatomy books. Anatomy would contain pictures and illustrations of the human heart. And it’s his favorite subject in school.
After a few searching moments, there I found snug in between pages of drawn illustrations of the heart, between pages 1506 and 1507 of Gray’s Anatomy, the card with the 3 bears. I opened it and it said: To my Love, happy 1st monthsary…I love you so much! From your love.
I still have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it. I think it’s one of the sweetest things he’s ever done (same rank as that of when we were together in his room and then suddenly my sun phone beeped and reading the message, I found out it was actually him sending me an i love you message).
Hay…this is one date that I wish it never ended. I miss him already. But I’ll be seeing him again next week for another badminton session. Wish I could beat him next time in the game! Hahahaha…
